What is the best type of massage to get to alleviate soreness from physical activity?
Michael P asked:
My kids and their friends talked me into playing “all-time quaterback” in their pick-up touch football game yesterday evening. Now my legs are sore, my shoulders are sore, and my upper back is sore. What type of massage is best for alleviating muscle soreness (Swedish, sports, deep tissue, other)?

a sports massage is the best by far. They get deep down into the muscles….. By experience male masseus give better massages then the female.
I have had both massages given to me by both male and female.
In your case, you can choose from one or a combination of: sports, trigger point, deep tissue or just the plne Swedish if its your first time. Ask your massage therapist and don’t hesitate to mention the reason why you wanted a massage in the first place, they would be glad to help.
best pain releiving massage i ever had was a heted stone massage. not many places seem to do it but it rocks, they start off gently with smooth hot stones and as they cool they go deeper and its very relaxing.
good memory that one, i ended up dating her for a few weeks, most relaxed i have ever been, she loved massaging even outside of work
